New York in October

When the New York Toy Fair moves to October instead of February, the weather is distinctly different and there’s no argument that the weather is better. No snow to trapse through, no cold to bundle up against, and slushy paths be gone!

The Empire State building shines at night from Nineth Ave.

Since the Toy Fair is held at the Javitz Center along the Hudson River, our small amount of time exploring centers in that area. There is the High Line that reaches the Hudson Yards complex and at the far end of the Highline is a park named Little Island, at Pier 54.
